Defy the Cycle provides specialized treatment for obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), hoarding disorder (HD). Our collaborative approach in the treatment of these disorders includes the use of ERP, ACT, and CBT. We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others, have a strong understanding of mental health issues, curiosity, creativity, and be able to provide effective counseling services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible care for our clients. You can choose between renting or contracting. While our practice draws referrals for OCD and related disorders, we are interested in incorporating providers with other specialties into our practice.
Provisionally licensed and early career therapists are invited to apply. As part of our practice, you will be afforded training opportunities to expand your knowledge of the modalities used by our clinicians.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual, family, and group therapy.
Assess and diagnose mental health issues.
Develop treatment plans for clients.
Educate clients on mental health topics and strategies for managing their symptoms.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Maintain client records and document progress.
